Veli tourist village is situated almost 8 kilometers from Thiruvananthapuram city. You can run away from the seriousness of life relaxing at the greenish area. It is an outstanding picnic spot near Veli lagoon. There are pleasurable rides to this place and you’ll never be disappointed. The road network is good and well-maintained and is widely used to access the scenic village. More still, there are water sports to keep you busy while counting hours without boredom.

Varkala beach is the only place in southern Kerala where cliffs are found adjacent to the Arabian Sea.These tertiary sedimentary formation cliffs are a unique geological feature on the otherwise flat Kerala coast, and is known among geologists as Varkala Formation and a geological monument as declared by the Geological Survey of India.
